Prepare to be flexible with your work schedule.
Sales Clerk/Cashier:
Pros: What I like most about my job is the flexibility working between multiple departments within the store. Whether I am working on the Front-End as a cashier, in the deli or bakery as a clerk or on the sales floor and other refrigerated areas stocking and conditioning the shelves.
Cons: The schedule is only posted week-to-week and can sometimes interfere with life outside of work making appointments or having time for socializing with others hard to come by as even day that are requested off even up to a month in advance are not guaranteed.
