Renal Dietitian Reviews

What is it like working as a Renal Dietitian?

April 2022
Rewarding.
Renal Dietitian in Wilmington:
Pros: Keeps my engaged and helping people get well
Cons: the pay given my experience being an RD for 30 years
March 2021
Renal Dietitian in Canandaigua:
Unity Health System was special and I loved it there. Now that Rochester Regional is the new normal it is people who don't know what they are doing leading those that don't either. They take away things and if you don't like it you can leave.
January 2020
Renal Dietitian in Claymont:
Pros: Autonomy and flexibility, tuition reimbursement, RD expertise is appreciated in this setting.
Cons: A lot of charting on patients (probably 50-75% of the job), patients can be non-compliant, corporate agenda dictates projects, more work continues to be piled up on staff and expected to complete it in the same time frame.
October 2019
Great place to work.
Renal Dietitian in Miami:
Pros: My direct manager and coworkers are awesome.
Cons: Upper management, they just think of us are working machines, giving us more and more patients. Do no see a real concern for patient well being, just care about numbers.
October 2019
A rewarding experience.
Renal Dietitian in Rialto:
Pros: Developing relationships with patients and coworkers
Cons: The clinic where I work is closing
September 2019
Its Flexiable job.
Renal Dietitian in Flint:
Pros: Good team
Cons: Pay is low.
March 2019
I love this company.
Renal Dietitian in Modesto:
Pros: I love making a positive impact on my patients.
Cons: These patients you see 2-4 times a week for years, you forget they are sick, one day they could be fine and you have a wonderful conversation with them, the next day they are supposed to come in you find out the passed away. Losing patients, that is the worst part of this job.
