RM Outlook.
Regional Manager, Retail:
As the banking market has changed drastically so has the responsibility. As an RM I'm having to handhold managers through most situations the arise in their job. Primarily because rules have changed so much that they are not prepared. It is difficulty to gain Buy-in from managers to go after the business due to the restrictions as they feel there are too many hoops to drump through.
October 2015
Employee engagement.
Regional Manager, Retail:
Understand any employee engagement scores or survey's from your potential employer.
November 2014
Helping Others.
Regional Manager, Retail:
Pros: I enjoy the personal interaction with my customers. Regardless if they are complimenting the stores or complaining about their day. Everyday brings a new reaction and a new story. Making the store look beautiful and getting the compliments it just a bonus.
Cons: The level of pay doesn't match the demand of the job or the quality of me work. I am also expected to work several positions at the same time making it very hard for my manager duties to take precedence.
September 2014
Hard But Rewarding.
Regional Manager, Retail:
Pros: Flexibility, responsibility, strategic focus.
Cons: Insufficient resources, long hours, staff turnover, high stress.
June 2014
Tesla Motors = Special Forces.
Regional Manager, Retail:
Pros: Changing the world 1 car at a time. Awesome camaraderie among team members.
Cons: Grueling hours and time away from family. Tend to burn out after a while if you do not take PTO or vacation and "recharge".
