Recreation Therapist in Calgary:
Pros: I enjoy helping individuals overcome barriers to leisure participation and helping them acquire skills to function independently in their community. It gives me personal satisfaction to help seniors explore past and new leisure persuits to improve their quality of life.
Cons: Working with difficult families which can be frustrating when their perception of their loved one is extremely different from what the individual is actually able to do.

Therapists are murdered. Dangers in working with criminal element & the mentally ill.
