Records Clerk Reviews
What is it like working as a Records Clerk?
May 2022
I learned alot.
Records Clerk in St. Catherine:
Pros: They paid me when I was depressed, s/l admitted and on quarantine. Gave me basket on administrative day for appreciation.
Cons: Lack of opportunity posed for educational opportunities, toxic environment, no trolley for the office, low salary and politics. Less appreciation shown during strenuous task and gaslighting. Person taking my reasons for granted. Lack or resources and reliability, poor grade given on Evaluation. Took my name of payroll when present at work for 2 1/2 months for 3 years and I wasnt on break. Refuse to stamp my work experience by supervisor but stamp by an hr manager. Claiming that I will loose my license if I do nursing. Feeling post traumatic stress due to past experiences.

Records Clerk in St. Louis:
Pros: I like the fact that I have the opportunity to work for the federal government and the opportunity to gain more experience in that industry. I also like the fact that I get work w/some wonderful group of people in the Administration Department. We're truly the backbone of the office.
Cons: I don't like the fact that they don't provide adequate training for its new employees. It's certainly needed. Not only that, I don't like the fact that I and a few others are there as contractors. We would like to be permanent employees not be beholden to contract agency whenever they have to make bids in order for us to keep our jobs.
April 2021
Satisfying.
Records Clerk in Winnipeg:
Pros: keeping busy with the paperwork, having specific tasks and flexibility to go outside those tasks sometimes
Cons: That I am the only one who knows how to use the database and that there is not good communication at times in the workplace
June 2020
Monotonous duties.
Records Clerk in Bristol:
Pros: the flexibility of my schedule and my co-workers
Cons: not much room for advancement within my department.
December 2019
Okay.
Records Clerk in Philadelphia:
Pros: My co-workers are friendly and we are like family.
Cons: I don't get paid what I am worth but get all the work handed to me when someone leaves the firm.
September 2019
Records Clerk in Detroit:
They don't offer fair market pay for the job. The benefit are ok. PTO does not kick in right away. Cross training is not a good answer staffing shortages. Training is ok, if you can pick up at a fast pace.
January 2019
They expect you to take on more duties without being compensated.
Records Clerk in St Louis:
Pros: The freedom to work flexible hours.
Cons: Pay
