Self management but no consistency in amounts of work.
Receptionist in Houston:
Pros: They give a lot of creative freedom when working on a project and give good feedback when I ask for it.
Cons: The down time and busy times cycle a lot. I may have 2 hours of down time in the morning and then have 3 or 4 hours of stressful and busy time in the afternoon. There's no way to stretch things out to a more consistent level

Pros: Patients, clients and co-workers
Cons: Poor work-life balance, co-worker's poor work ethic and unreliability, management's obliviousness to reality and tendency to overlook employee opinions and experience.
