Shift work is a challenge.
Quality Assurance (QA) Technician:
The job is what you make it. Technology grows in leaps and bounds. There are always new things to learn. Working shift work (12 hour rotating shift) can be very challenging to family life. You will have to work on holiday's and will not always be off for important events. On the other hand you can make new family traditions and having a week of vacation tacked onto off days makes for long vacations. There is almost always overtime to be had. Take every opportunity to learn things. Stay engaged and you will stay interested.

Cons: No recognition... Long hours...alot of stress.
