• Working with AS9100 certified company. • Performing inspection at different stages of production (Receiving, In-process, Final) • Generate First Article Inspection (FAI) report per AS9102 and Certificate of Compliance (C of C). • Generate First Article Inspection Report (FAIR) on Net-Inspect Portal for Bombardier Aerospace. • Vendor Inspection Program (VIP) process for Bombardier Aerospace parts. • Performing DSQAR process for UTAS Landing gear and Heroux parts. • Performing Internal Audits, maintain Audit documents up-to-date for ISO/AS9100 Audit. • Performing Calibration of precision measuring instruments and maintaining Calibration blog. • Data collection and generation of Non conformance report, Defective Material report and SCAR reports. • Perform Hardness and Conductivity for different alloys materials in house. • Working with different precision quality instruments like Faro Arm Gage (AACMM), Vernier Caliper, Micrometer, Pin gauges, Radius gauges, S-22 surface roughness.

Pros: Work environment, work flexibility, culture/atmosphere, ability/oportunity to grow.
Cons: Our quality lab is understaffed, our processes are difficult to maintain due to owners and CEO making exception calls on a relatively consistent basis. This is frustrating from a control/repeatability standpoint.

Pros: The experience and knowledge that can be gained here is immense and worthy. The infrastructure and equipment available is world class and the best in the Asian continent. Salary prospects and benefits are comparable to other industries of the same field.
Cons: Being a state owned enterprise, 50 year old establishment and exhaustive procedures for process and work, the risk of employer losing business is high in the near future. Employee mindset and attitude is age old one and communication about policies and responsibilities are always unclear to the newly joined employees.
