What is it like working as a Public Relations (PR) Manager?

Public Relations (PR) Manager:
Pros: I like that I am able to work individually and within a team. My manager leaves me to lead my own work and takes on my recommendations. The role has also allowed me to grow as leader within the marketing team.
Cons: Lack of understanding of public relations and my role. Being across whole of business also means missed opportunities as I am only one person managing the communications for a whole business that has a number of portfolios and sub-brands.

Pros: I like the most of PR that it's very flexible and some what a challenge. To know more about the Music Industry.
Cons: The least I like about my Job is that the Recording Artiste some times. Are lazy and expect you to do all the work to enhance there career.

Public Relations (PR) Manager:
For a long time I always tried to be one step ahead when I wasn't sure of a task or how to do something as I didn't want to look like I didn't know what I was doing. I've realized it's ok to admit this and worthwhile investing your time in training or otherwise to help you to progress.
