What is it like working as a Proposal Writer?

May 2023
Pretty Good Place to Work.
Proposal Writer in Virginia Beach:
Pros: Chenega Corp. offers many benefits, perhaps the best of which is a flexible work policy and schedule that includes 3 days of telecommunicating and 2 days in the office. There is also a great tuition and training reimbursement plan that covers degrees, certifications, conferences, and other training and skill-building opportunities. The management is fairly transparent and communicative and everyone is pleasant and cordial to work with.
Cons: Chenega Corp. works hard to promote pay equity for all contracted employees, and has recently begun implementing pay transparency for contracts as well. Additionally, Chenega also works to ensure contracted employees get yearly raises that coincide with federal regulations and the rising cost of living. However, I don't know if this same dedication extends to salaried employees working at Chenega itself, versus employees working on our govt. contracts.
