Ok Company Going Through Rapid Changes.
Project Manager, Information Technology (IT):
Pros: Wonderful benefits - sick days, personal days, vacation days, federal paid holidays, medical insurance covered a variety of aliments and had special provisions that were added on as a rider. They're in the process of adding pet health insurance.
Work-life balance is usually good, depending on where you are situated. Usually there isn't a problem with working from home, just make sure that you inform whomever you need to.
Cons: Having a company cell phone usually meant that you were available for email and phone calls 24/7, even when you're on vacation.
Depending on which division you were in, it could be hard to tell what your role in the overall company organization and strategy is.
Going through another restructuring right now (as of 2014), eliminating about 1,000 jobs.

Project Manager, Information Technology (IT):
Follow the 80/20 rule and be sure you always complete the 20% of the job that is critical. Don't worry so much about the 80%. Don't take things personally. Everyone has a job to do, so go after the task, not the person. The biggest key to success in project management is getting people to want to work with you. If they don't, your project is in the bin.
