Process Improvement Manager Reviews
What is it like working as a Process Improvement Manager?
October 2013
Life as a process improvement coordinator
Process Improvement Manager:
Pros: Bringing people together to create a positive solution that works for all parties involved, is permanent in nature and good for our customer. Creating solutions that are systemic in nature wherever possible that set our employees up to succeed.
Facilitating conversations that result in a set of investigations and actions with set due dates to resolve issues.
Cons: Seeing issues that need to be addressed but cannot be due to the busyness of the company. Moving on to new projects while leaving "interim" solutions in place that create manual process, leave room for human error and ultimately disappointment customers. These interim, manual, person specific process leave the person on the front line unable to serve our customers in the manner that they want to, in a manner that will leave the customer satisfied.
