Probation Officer Reviews
What is it like working as a Probation Officer?
November 2018
Stressful and very political.
Probation Officer in Los Angeles:
Pros: Working with good staff.
Cons: Nepotism, retaliation,Harassment. The same rules do not apply for upper management they get away with murder with no punishment of any kind for negative acts. Every other employee with lower position get fired right away. A lot of stress and very political. A lot of nepotism if you don't know anyone you will get stuck in the same position for years. Its not what you know or your experienve or your high test and interview scores it's who you know. There has been a lot of sorry staff that should not have certain positions, but because they know people they get nominated to promote. The dumbs people in high positions.
