All that glitters is not gold.
Police Officer:
Do your research to find out what aspect of police work you would like to venture into. Find out what the requirements are to become a detective, specialist, swat team operator, etc. Get your college degree completed early if not before you join a local police department. Get your experience in 2-3years and move on to a higher paying job if you are not happy. Don't think that things will change for the better if you are not happy with what's going on. Politics always taints the waters of progress when you are an unknown.
