Pros: The new challenge it brings everyday as not every day is the same one day could be stress free and the next could be total mayhem.
I like the fact I am right on my own doorstep and that I earn decent money.
I enjoy the people I work with.
Cons: Very stressful job some days working up to 4 vessels a shift at the same time with up to 30 radios coming at me any one given moment and no time to think.

3. Focus on First things First - Bigest Bang for your Buck - Time mangement is critical. Know your deadlines!
4. Sharpen up on Listening Skills - Understand First then Seek to be understood. Inspire Trust.
5. Think Win Win (Your Part of a team wearing the same Jersey all working towards the same goal)
6. Synergize with other Controllers with in you network - Share Best Practices. Drive Standardization as much as possible.
7. Understand when things aren't working and don't be afraid to make tough decisions to drive change.
