Pipe Welder:
Starting out begin with the basics of welding, processes and the tools used in the trade. School would be a good place to start. Join a apprenticeship program if one is available to get great hands on training while receiving a check. You have to be willing to put yourself out there if you are going to get anywhere. Ask lots of questions and must be willing to devote substantial time to it. It is a very rewarding job and you can make a decent living at it.
