Pros: Make my own hours. Not in the office all day. Most of I like helping the elderly and their families.
Cons: . Can get a bit boring. Or maybe sad because you see a person you take care of get older. Not very good pay. Driving alot.

What to know about the personal care field.
Personal Care Provider:
This is hard work. It requires patience and understanding of a person in medical need. You must be able to take orders, cooperate, and be available at all hours. You will have to tolerate a person who make have mood changes. They will have medical problems and sometimes be completely dependent on you. It can be highly stressful at times. You may need to be physically strong.
