What is it like working as a Personal Banker?

September 2022
It's very easy and I interact with customer in person and by phone.
Personal Banker in Haines City:
Pros: It's a great work and give us the opportunity to work together and learn about new products
Cons: It's in Puerto Rico and I'm moving to Florida
July 2022
Mid-management chaos.
Personal Banker in Wellington:
Pros: BNZ pays well, and outside customer service I believe staff are treated fairly
Cons: Bad middle management, particularly in the customer service specialties. No one takes ownership of anything, and secrets are kept from bankers by their immediate leadership because they hold contempt for them. Red tape galore. Rampant nepotism. Poor hiring decisions. Bankers are bullied.
May 2022
Okay.
Personal Banker in New Castle:
Pros: The customers
Cons: Sitting in the lobby and customers walking right up to your desk. Need more offices for privacy
May 2021
Personal Banker:
For the most part PNC is a great company to work for. Great benefits, 401k and pension. Pay is just mediocre especially once you realize you are an essential worker and compare that fast work and closing in the gap on pay wage.
February 2021
You are constantly learning new things. You must know how to multi-task and being knowledgeable about your products and the services you offer is very important.
Personal Banker in Tyler:
Pros: American State Bank is so diverse, also working for the company you have no choice but to build a family but yet professional work space around your colleagues.
Cons: Although we communicate with each other through email or phone conversation it seems like it is harder than ever for colleagues or management to answer or return calls/emails.
February 2021
Personal Banker in San Diego:
Pros: What I like the most about being a personal banker is when I help a customer get on the right track to meet their financial goals.
Cons: I disagree with some business decisions Wells Fargo has made in the past.
January 2021
Love my job.
Personal Banker in Lafayette:
Pros: Great benefits and decent pay.
Cons: Stressful sometimes and heavy workload. Also working around so many different people in a day during a pandemic.
