Pros: My coworkers and the variety/complexity of our caseload.
Cons: The compensation and respect for our role from administration is insulting. We are the top level Perfusionist and should be treated as such.

High turnover and extremely slow surgeon.

Perfusionist:
Great place to work & learn. Pay and compensation is good/very good. Constant change... Always something new. Unfortunately, high staffing turnover. Middle managers are prone towards mindlessly following rules/policy as opposed to exercising common sense and personal judgement. Good vs bad = great place to work if you can tolerate the corporate culture.
