Form a good rapport with new employees & try to maintain positive relationships with all employees. Form an alliance with other department managers and have them as the first contact for payroll and/or benefit issues. Make sure you keep communication flowing between Payroll department and the other department managers to ensure employees are being provided correct information from their supervisor.
