Operations Support Manager:
Pros: The opportunity to create and revise policy and procedures, serving the public during emergency and crisis events. Building relationships with elected officials to educate about needs of the public safety field.
Cons: The long hours sometimes 12-14 hour days, juggling multiple projects, and constant changing responsibilities and job functions. Constantly on call after working hours to provide information for upper management or direction to staff in both emergency and non emergency situations. No monetary compensation for overtime work required to complete assigned projects.

Cons: Too many time consuming little tasks. The pay. Too many hours.
