Operations Supervisor in Salt Lake City:
Pros: Big building. Many different event sets, meaning I do new with epuipment I already know.
Cons: So much being my problem. Manage 20+ translating constantly, set a room, take a picture, do a radio call, fork the next equipment in, get the plan from event managers, Do shift report, Tend donations, sign in/out most of the 20 workers and distribute parking passes. Brief the next shift. Do the luandry. Move the airwalls. Fix the airwalls. Report problems to the right department. Constant overtime. Hevean forbid the work be done because then it's my fault there isn't anything left. So much more little things taking my metaphorical straws. I like my job for the most part. I believe I have reached the point of I can. So now I have to. No pay raise for the more. No incentive. No promotion. I got "I told the other assistant manager u did a good job".... ya real motivated.
