Everyday is a challenge!
Operations Officer:
Pros: Keeps me mentally stimulated and I feel valued as part of a team.
Cons: I work closely with people who are very gossipy, I also feel like I was held back from a promotion I really deserved.

Pros: Explored the corporate culture and especially banking culture. Helped me realize what type of jobs I can handle and my skill set.

Operations Officer:
Pros: •Take care of the entire business with proper analytical care and taking adequate steps for the development and achieving the set company target. •Handling company communication and correspondence, import raw-materials from Asia, and Far East countries and procuring packing materials from local sources. •Forecast of raw-materials after analyzing current stock, safety stock, and warehousing capacity. •Ensure raw-materials to the production, promptly follow-up LCs, shipping docs, duty exemption, shipment clearing, transport and unloading arrangements. •Sending purchase Orders and promptly follow-up of packing material deliveries. •Co-ordinate with Production and Maintenance depts., for keeping minimum stock of consumables, required spare parts to avoid shortage and unexpected breakdown of machineries. •Invite shipping quotes, track shipment arrivals as well as dispatches, arrival of original docs, and make sure the import/export shipments are effected as per the schedule.
Cons: * Stress on getting the things done with-in limited time period which is not in our hands, depends on the suppliers and service providers commitments. * Not having properly rewarded for bringing developments to the company - like annual increments, bonus allowance, staff benefits, air ticket benefit while comparing benefits for the same standard job levels.
