November 2018
Nurse Private Duty:
I have 2 clients, work 6 days per week, anywhere from 35 to 43 hours per week. I have great clients. I have had several supervisors and DONs. I have no complaints about anyone. I have received 2 annual raises, but I work for 2 different offices, so there was confusion about getting my raise at one office. I also wish I was making more, since I have been working as a nurse for 40 years. Overall, I would say it is a good company.

Be independent and don't be afraid to ask for help when needed, especially if it deals with the care and well being of your patient. Assessment skills and experience a must.
