Try your hardest with the kids, you are making an impact on their lives. They are going to remember How you treated them. Make this job one you will always talk about. Realize that the parents are counting on your for their livelihood. And most of all enjoy your time. Love the kids, teach them, play with them, teach them important morals and values.

You Are So Valuable.
Nanny:
A nanny is one of the most valuable positions in a family unit. Therefore, one must recognize that they should demand a great salary and excellent benefits.

Do Everything.
Nanny:
Be prepared to do everything yourself, even things you would expect the parents to do on a daily basis. Like wash their own dishes. You will need to take child to doctor and will possibly be asked to take dog to vet as well. Organize all play dates, class schedules, keep up to date regarding where child should be in learning process and educate Mother. Do grocery shopping for whole family, all organic! Also prep child's meals as well as 2 meals for parents - healthy ones! Make sure to get mail and take care of dog. Also should fill water bottles for everyone before leaving for the day. Dry cleaning and daily errands are required.

Pros: Seeing how confident and relaxed the parents become when they put their whole trust in me as a caregiver for their baby. They really appreiate what you do for them.
