Membership Associate Reviews
What is it like working as a Membership Associate?
November 2019
Membership Associate in Virginia Beach:
I love my job. Helping members with issues with their membership however, I believe it’s unfair to as someone that has worked at the company for 8yrs to train someone new that is making much more money. I believe that when the wages went up to starting at $11/hr that the employees in good standing should of had a wage increase. All we received was, up to $11 if we weren’t already there. Absolutely no compensation for being a dedicated employee.

Non-profit Work.
Membership Associate:
Pros: The people I work with are amazing. I also enjoy helping members via phone. Any type of customer relations is a welcome break to the data entry. When we have events I like coordinating them and am getting experience planning them as well.
Cons: The pay is very low. The organization makes it clear that we are replaceable. The data entry work is tedious and mind numbing. There is not a lot of room for growth. If there is growth it is very slow.
