Providing Laboratory Services.
Medical Technologist:
Pros: I get to learn new things everyday. Meet new people. We get to help doctors in diagnosing their patients by providing accurate laboratory results.
Cons: Having patients that won't cooperate with the procedures. Doctors who are impatient with the lab results, constantly scolds and insults.

Be willing to move around to land the job you want.

Ever-changing Field.
Medical Technologist:
Pros: I enjoy helping people not just within the lab but outside the lab as well. This field is always evolving with new technological advances and new diagnoses of different medical issues. This field takes a lot of effort because you have to use your analytical senses.
Cons: N/A.

Part of a team.
Medical Technologist:
Pros: When I leave work, I am able to leave the work behind. No longer have piles of paperwork, tasks, meetings, etc waiting for me when I return to work.
Cons: Unreliable co-workers. Being late, calling in sick, etc automatically make it harder on co-workers who have to pick up the slack and bear more of the burden of the position.

A field of science that is extremely important in the medical field. The doctors cannot function without us. All diagnosis and prognosis are based on laboratory works which we perform.
