Medical Records Clerk:
If your acting manager invites you to a program training course she is teaching, take it! I made the mistake of asking someone in the field already and was burned out. The advice given to me was "don't waste your time". Well I have been wasting time by taking one class at a time, and now losing my marriage over it.

Medical Records Clerk:
The pay is low and we are the lowest on the rung at the facility, which means we get treated like inferior people and everything gets blamed on us. We get the jobs that no one else wants to do whether they are part of our job or not..expect to work like crazy and multitask with no help.. Must be. Self-starter and be able to accept change. You also should have basic medical terminology and be able to spell medical terms.
