Medical Office Front Desk Specialist Reviews

What is it like working as a Medical Office Front Desk Specialist?

December 2020
Medical Office Front Desk Specialist in Hermitage:
HCA is a great place to work, management truly cares about you and wants you to succeed. The only drawback is the pay is not enough for a single person to live on, and is not competitive to similar positions.

I enjoy my job. I just feel I am underpaid.
Medical Office Front Desk Specialist in Marietta:
Pros: I love making a difference and having a positive impact on my patients.
September 2019
Basically, overworked, underappreciated, and stressed out. Poor managenent!
Medical Office Front Desk Specialist in Marietta:
Pros: Interacting with the patients. Helping their day go well.
Cons: Office manager micromanaged, has blatant favorites, while others are never given new opportunities and are stuck with redundant tasks that could and should be automated. For instance, for many years I had to call every single patient on the schedule, sometimes upward of 100 to confirm their appointment. This took most of my day, and since I also had to check patients out and schedule tests and return visits as well as help with disability paperwork, I was under a lot of pressure to even finish by day's end.
April 2019
Pretty good.
Medical Office Front Desk Specialist in Houston:
Pros: Everyone is very friendly and willing to help
Cons: it is hard to advance and learn other areas
January 2019
Pretty cool environment, yet underpaid.
Medical Office Front Desk Specialist in Atlanta:
Pros: Flexibility to utilize PTO is pretty much whenever you want off, as long as you put in 2 weeks prior it will more than likely be approved.
Cons: A lot of times you 're not treated with the respect you deserves. Especially as pertains to the knowledge you know you have in your area of expertise. Haven't had a raise in about 4 years or any type of bonus in almost 10 years
December 2018
Convenient, easy access.
Medical Office Front Desk Specialist in Spring:
Pros: close to area
Cons: not many other work place options
