Know your stuff, coding isn't easy it's a tough job but well worth it. You have to be someone not afraid to look for an answer, don't be surprised when you don't have it or can't find it. Know your audience and be patient. Communication is key getting it and giving it. Don't be afraid to learn new things, the coding world is huge and very detailed. Don't get too lost in the details and love at least a portion of your job.
