Interesting place.
Marketing Manager:
You will make your own work. No one is going to help you or give you responsibilities. Can be tough if that is not what you like.

It is ok.
Marketing Manager:
Pros: The flexibility and work hours.
Cons: I cannot perform my duties because I am given such a diverse and large work load. My role is not contractually defined and therefore my role basically changes to suit what is in need at that time rather than being able to plan correctly. My ideas are never valued nor listened to. I am undervalued. I have never had a complaint or been in trouble however I am scrutinized of the most minor mistakes.

Challenging, interesting, long hours, hard deadlines.
Marketing Manager:
Pros: The work is interesting, the company is growing so the role is constantly challenging, it allows me to be both creative and analytical.
Cons: Stressful, long hours, confusing company structure.
