Marketing Coordinator Reviews
What is it like working as a Marketing Coordinator?
December 2020
Mediocre.
Marketing Coordinator in Olathe:
Pros: Olathe is a small community with a lot of connections to other larger communities. People are friendly!
December 2020
New position, mixed bag of responsibilities.
Marketing Coordinator in Boston:
Pros: large variety of tasks, setting up events, nice atmosphere
Cons: no room for growth, underpaid, no socialization
October 2020
Pay is not great.
Marketing Coordinator in Calgary:
Pros: We have a great group of people that are passionate about education. I love that we produce products that help students get a personalised/tailored learning experience.
Education is everything.
Cons: We are not paid enough. No one received a salary increased when our company thrived during COVID. We are moving to a even more remote working environment and will not receive any compensation for using our homes when they are closing down the office...HR - "We are saving you time and money because your are not paying for lunch or the commute". When staff leaves, quits or gets fired a replacement is rarely hired but the expectation is that the work is divided among remaining team members. They say there is opportunity for growth but no. Taking on work and responsibilities outside your job description is an expectation. You will not get a job title review or compensation review for your efforts. For some your bonus is tied to KPIs that are not in your control.
In regards to systems and process - getting the tools or resources to do your job effectively is difficult. You become a master at work arounds.
September 2020
More work than relayed in my job description.
Marketing Coordinator in Fullerton:
Pros: Independence to do my own projects/creations.
Cons: Lack of professionalism.
September 2020
Marketing Coordinator in Fort Lauderdale:
This is a company that seriously underpays and refuses to touch upon pay wage transparency. They outsource to Colombia in order to be able to underpay. It’s completely unlivable wages while hiding behind “free lunches” or “free beer on Fridays”
September 2020
Exciting and extremely informative.
Marketing Coordinator in Johannesburg:
Pros: Organizing and coordinating events, i.e, Sales Conference, exhibition stands. Plus designing and ensuring that our calendars improve on a yearly basis.
Cons: Having to push other departments to do their job. Instead of waiting for me to push them, and only then, will they do their job. At times it feels like I haev to beg them.
August 2020
Stressful for no reason.
Marketing Coordinator in Lincoln:
Pros: I love the difference of events and the good that we do
Cons: management and my unfair pay
