Pros: Working in Winnipeg is great because I am close to both my family and friends. My workplace strongly encourages a strong work life balance. The commute from home to work is very reasonable. Winnipeg is a great multi-cultural city. It's easy to get between meetings, commute time is very minimal.
Cons: Winnipeg has variable weather and can be one of the coldest places to live. Cost of living is on the rise whereas wages do not seem to be growing as quickly. People in Winnipeg are generally friendly and it's a great city to settle down in and sow your oats.
