Your Work Experience In Taiwan Depends On The Type of Company You Work For.
Marketing Assistant in Taipei:
Pros: I work for a company whose clients are mostly from the U.S. and their way of doing things is very American therefore my working experience in Taiwan is probably very different than for those that work for Taiwanese companies.
In my company, the working hours are very flexible and your direct manager trusts that you will meet deadlines and do your job well. The work environment is great and you feel that you're being taken care of when you're at work. They provide everything you need from good working space, snacks, drinks, etc.
Cons: Salaries are pretty low compared to other Asian countries and even though my company provides many benefits that other companies might not, their salaries are close to the minimum.
