Manufacturing Technician Reviews
What is it like working as a Manufacturing Technician?
May 2021
Grit and Sweat Make the Grade.
Manufacturing Technician in Hillsboro:
Pros: My Coworkers are friendly and have your back
Cons: Micromanagement and constant pressure
February 2021
Technicians are not valued and treated poorly. Management is unprofessional and huge conflict of interest issues. Accountant is dating supervisor and is given special privileges.
Manufacturing Technician in Vancouver:
Pros: Friendships
Cons: Being talked down to, excluded from productive conversations regarding the technology and development aspects of my job. Being excluded from company outings, being harassed by the accountant, not getting opportunities to grow due to my bosses girlfriend having personal vendetta against me.
November 2020
Intense yet extremely mundane.
Manufacturing Technician in Frederick:
Pros: The relationship between colleagues. I enjoy being around and conversing with nearly all of my peers and some of the Supervisors. Half of them treat you as equals, work alongside you, and just want to get through the day without drama, frustration and hassle. The Supervisor I like and respect most is always rushing around a very large building to ensure everyone is not only working, but working without problems. He will go out of his way to teach you how not only to properly work on task, he will show you how to do it the easiest way to complete the task properly. He doesn't cut corners, but he takes shortcuts. He exemplifies the saying, "work smarter, not harder." He never speaks in a condescending manner to anyone, despite being their superior, as a supervisor.
His work ethic truly sets an example for everyone "at the bottom of the company ladder," so to speak.
I would say about 75-85% of the supervisors are like this. Just watch out for the other 15%, as the way they act and look down on everyone can easily ruin your entire 8.5-9 hour shift.
Cons: It can be very mentally exhausting, yet monotonous at the same time. You have to have tremendous mental fortitude to push through the long, boring days. Personally, I don't mind extremely monotonous and repetitive tasks. You have to learn what you, personally, can do that will keep you sane while you get and complete an order to fill, cap, and label 1,500 bottles of oil or sterilized water.
October 2020
Work Life Balance at cost of poor growth prospects.
Manufacturing Technician in Dartmouth:

Cons: No incentives for self upgradation and no prospects for professional growth
October 2020
Life At Intel.
Manufacturing Technician in Phoenix:

Cons: I like the condensed work week the least, I don't have a lot of family time
September 2020
I feel no confidence of myself to further develop my skill or to move up afleast my level of position.
Manufacturing Technician in Calgary:
Pros: I like most giving me more task to do to keep myself busy.
Cons: Working alone
January 2020
I want to improve and work more smarter.
Manufacturing Technician in Fremont:
Pros: I have a freedom to work my way. I put all my positive efforts for the development of the company.
Cons: Standing for hours even when your are sick
