Manufacturing Engineer Reviews

What is it like working as a Manufacturing Engineer?

March 2020
The sheen wore off my engineering startup job.
Manufacturing Engineer in Vancouver:
Pros: Great access to the outdoors. Busy, engaging industry and environment.
Cons: Struggling startup making the world a better place but in a hap-hazard manner. No benefits. Less than industry average pay. Top heavy company with lack of culture. Overly focused on growth that proved to be unsustainable.
February 2020
Great placed to work.
Manufacturing Engineer in Rockford:
Pros: Challenging, interesting, the technology, people, diversity love working with all the people from different cultures, programs from aerospace, defense, and space keep coming and we are always busy.
Cons: the company is getting to big. Some managers are not even on location. You could be working for someone that is across the country, HR hiring is slow and not very friendly right now and most of HR is not working very well in my opinion.
February 2020
Great Place To Work.
Manufacturing Engineer in Salt Lake City:
Pros: The environment, Colleagues and Airplanes.
Cons: Non-competitive teleworking, 40 hour work week rather than 4/10 or 9/5/8. Very few holiday paid days, No national Holiday paid days.
February 2020
Great employment in a smaller city with everything.
Manufacturing Engineer in Woodstock:
Pros: Short commute, low traffic and errands can easily be run.
Cons: Public transit and bike/walk commuting can be very difficult depending on where you work.
January 2020
Stressful, left feeling undervalued.
Manufacturing Engineer in Atlanta:
Pros: Taking new products from conception on a screen, to having my employees press a green button that produces a high quality, accurate part repeatedly.
Cons: Feeling undervalued, energy level of fellow employees
January 2020
Interesting but frustrating.
Manufacturing Engineer in Cheltenham:
Pros: Lots of opportunity, training potential and a growing business.
Cons: GM's tend to use it as a stepping stone for a few years before moving on up and therefore won't take action on clearly toxic managers. Although some of the managers are great.
January 2020
Mediocre steering stone.
Manufacturing Engineer in Middletown:
Pros: Operators on floor is easy to get along with for most part.
Cons: Lack of leadership and focus.
