Pros: Meaningful product and excellent work life balance
Cons: Highly regulated structure limits any opportunity for autotomy or creativity. thinking. 95% of work is not engineering related which is a disappointment for someone who loves the profession.

Hectic with little training and a lot of responsibilities ibility.

Pros: I’m not micro managed and am the champion of my program. I also enjoy the causal dress code.
Cons: The company has a high turn over rate due to low salary and high responsibility. The surrounding areas are heavy on engineering companies in technology and defense. It’s a big draw to leave for better opportunities

Pros: Getting paid rather than being homeless
Cons: Dealing with insane drivers, nepotism runs rampant throughout management and other alike, logical thinking is mostly disregarded in favor of what can make a quick buck.

Halifax, the 'meh' capital of the UK.
Manufacturing Engineer in Halifax:
Pros: Close to home
Cons: I have no idea how the roads can be in such poor condition when they are dug up so frequently. Traffic is abhorrent in rush hour, particularly if there has been an accident (and there usually has) on the M62.
