Manufacturing Engineer:
O Lead cross-functional teams on key strategic projects including cost reduction and process improvement projects.
O Engineering support to contract manufacturers and Lead Cost saving/ sustaining/ Risk mitigation projects across different functions. Currently Leading projects with the contract manufacturers to save $2-3M related to manufacturing and completed a $2.5 M risk mitigation project.
O Provide technical support for existing products by developing solutions for problems complex in nature and/or of relatively high organizational impact with a high level of accountability and authority and relatively minimal supervisory oversight.
O Work to maintain product performance and quality for existing products by leading and assisting with issues relating to CAPAs, customer complaints and manufacturing processes improvements, such as:
O Failure investigation and root cause analysis.
O Regulatory compliance.
O Process enhancement and improvement.
O Coordinate activities, transfer technology.

You Are A Number, Not A Person.
Manufacturing Engineer:
Pros: There's job security. Unless you screw up really bad, there's so much red tape in a corporation this size that no one will bother to fire you.
Cons: Honestly it's terrible to work here. They don't care about employees at all. All the silly stereotypical things you see of corporate culture in movies like office space, are horrifyingly accurate. The CEO would literally throw you under a bus if it meant the share price increased.
