Small town blues.
Manager Water Treatment in Bessemer City:
Pros: Providing the citizens with quality drinking water
Cons: Upper management doesn’t understand what being an ORC ( Operator in Responsible Charge) really means.
November 2018
Hometown.
Manager Water Treatment in Bessemer City:
Pros: I work for my hometown. I live literally 2 minutes away. I work with a lot of people I’ve known my whole life.
Cons: That I’m doing 2 jobs (Water Plant ORC and the Pretreatment Coordinator) with no help. Until I took over them there was a person for each job. With the Pre. Coordinator actually having an assistant. One paid $38k, one $42k and the other $70k. I’m being paid $47k for doing all 3.
