Management Consultant Reviews

What is it like working as a Management Consultant?

September 2019
Not as good as I thought.
Management Consultant in Mumbai:
Pros: I don't like at all
Cons: sensitive
August 2019
Used to be great, now like any other small/medium consulting firm. Loss of culture.
Management Consultant in Washington:
Pros: My immediate manager is great. Long term employees are exceptional
Cons: Company culture shift, top management used to care about employees but now that isn’t so. Not enough opportunities to train, get certified, and advance. Never get even a cost of living increase despite the highest employee rating. Promised increases don’t happen unless you have high management staff fight for you.
May 2019
Plenty of opportunities for personal and professional development.
Management Consultant in Singapore:
Pros: Progression opportunities available to those who strive for it - generally merit-based system
Cons: Can get crazy sometimes
April 2019
Great people but could use some structural changes.
Management Consultant in San Francisco:
Pros: The people are great and everyone once in a while some really interesting work shows up. The work varies considerably so I think it's more intellectually demanding than other places.
Cons: Lack of focus at a high level, so business can be inconsistent, you have to put in a lot more effort.
April 2019
Great people, clients and projects with company leadership inconsistency.
Management Consultant in Seattle:
Pros: The team
Cons: A lack of fairness in the way leadership / CEO treats individuals and teams (he asks a lot more of some than others).
March 2019
A great platform to launch consultancy.
Management Consultant in Launceston:
Pros: Proximity and travel
Cons: Lack of local opportunity and progress
March 2019
Strong management consulting firm that needs a good kick of growth to succeed.
Management Consultant in Boston:
Pros: The people
Cons: The pay
