It is stressful working in any mining environment. Competition is tough and performance is of utmost importance. The reward of achieving goals is very fulfilling, but one can get tired, the workday start at 06:00 and the pressure is always on.
Maintenance Planner in Rustenburg:
Pros: I have been in the Mining Engineering Environment for the past 26 years and I still learn new things every day. The competition in Rustenburg is fierce, the Mine Inspector is closeby.... never a dull moment.
Cons: I travel far. I stay 70 km from work. Leave home at 04:30 in the mornings. My day starts very early.
