Maintenance Mechanic in Chanute:
I feel that the hospital as a whole tries to create a good environment for patients and employees. I feel that they do a good job with treating employees fairly for southeast Kansas. Good benefits. Pay is good for most positions. The raises are based off of a percentage which works well for the higher paid employees and tends to leave the lower paid employees left behind. I feel that they have addressed this partially in the past but only provided a temporary solution. I would freely give them a five star rating if this was fixed and raises were done solely off of personal performance and not as a group with the manager having the freedom to give employees the earned raise.
