Loss Control Consultant Reviews
What is it like working as a Loss Control Consultant?
May 2016
Field-based Loss Control Consultant.
Loss Control Consultant:
Pros: Incredible flexibility; setting your own schedule is an inherent element of the job. Great if you have family obligations, but not a particularly useful for a young, single, college graduate. However, favorable scheduling provides plenty of time for post-graduate/certification studies.
Cons: Little room for advancedment, mentorship, and teamwork due to geographic autonomy, flat departmental org chart, and independent nature of position. Very relaxed atmosphere and periphiral fuction in the new buisness process is not ideal for those with ambition. Must reiterate that conditions vary from carrier to carrier, although outside colleagues have confirmed the typicallity of aforemented elements.
