What is it like working as a Librarian?

August 2022
Librarian in Oakland:
Pros: Work from home
Cons: Alienation from the work I produce, and the lack of input I am allowed on the project I created.
May 2022
Librarian in Albany:
A pleasant place to work with good co-workers. Administration is supportive in times of family illness. Benefits are excellent. The only complaint, which is a big one, is that Dougherty County sets the pay, and they set it low. They rarely give cost of living or merit pay increases, which is a big hardship for long-term employees.
