Knowledge and being able to run the office in a professional manner when attorney is out of the office. Keeping clients informed and calm wbile dressing over transaction. Have ability to speak to other attorneys in a pproffesional manner and handling crisis as they arise.

Cons: I do more work than I think im getting paid for and my bosses are a little misogynistic.

Negotiate minimal annual pay raises up front. Clarify duties up front.

Pros: Small Firm so close interaction and bond between staff.
Leadership role in marketing meetings & firm meetings.

Cons: Overworked & underpaid as I was hired to be a Legal Assistant, but am having to also be the receptionist thus making to overwhelming/stressful with so much to do.
