Establish communication with the client/customer. Ask questions of the client/customer that will help reveal previous work experience, expectations, skills, knowledge, education, abilities and background. Assess where the customer may be in their job search or job readiness. Inquire if preparation is needed to become job ready. Explain current employment/employer trends and environment for appearing to be the best candidate. Provide information and answers to help customers focus on where and what they need to do and acquire to become valuable assets for today's world of work.
