Insurance Claims Specialist Reviews

What is it like working as an Insurance Claims Specialist?

March 2019
Fast paced and rewarding.

Not Enough Employees? Just Work Overtime...
Insurance Claims Specialist in Los Angeles:
Pros: Working from home
Cons: No consideration for employees home or work life balance. We are not given an option on whether or not we want to work the overtime to get our job done. It is assumed we will. Even with overtime, it is impossible to get the all the work done which means we can't hit our goals. Domino effect of not work results, so therefore not pay increase. Only way to make more money is by working unwanted overtime. Vicious cycle.
January 2019

A true gem in the insurance world. This company cares about its employees and customers. The work environment and salaries are great. Management is supportive and involved. The systems could be updated to improve productivity and efficiency.

December 2017
Insurance Claims Specialist in Petaluma:

Cons: The commute.
June 2017
Insurance Claims Specialist in Johns Creek:
Pros: The security, benefits and stability. PTO and credit union is very nice and the diversity and inclusion.
Cons: The micro -management, team environment where you are told what task to do exactly when. You are expected to do every Claim in just a few minutes. You can't get a day off and the points system is not good. There is no work life balance for situations that come up.
