Middling.
Instructional Designer / Trainer in Omaha:
Pros: It feels like both a city and a small town. There are plenty of jobs available.
Cons: Though it is improving, nonprofits tend to compete rather than collaborate. Nonprofit pay and benefits seem to lag behind and are certainly not forward thinking. I have encountered much micromanagement and discrimination, so finding a job that is a good fit has been difficult.
