Instructional Designer Reviews

What is it like working as an Instructional Designer?

October 2017
Instructional Designer in New Delhi:
Pros: New Delhi is my home, and also the capital city of the country. There are huge corporate areas within the city and in the outskirts, where a lot of major international companies have their offices in. I have always found this city full of opportunities to explore, especially in my work industry. If given a choice between working in other metropolitan cities within the country or in Delhi, I would look forward to remain in the city because my family lives here. However, I would not say "No" to a good opportunity outside Delhi. Apart from the work, I really like the variety and quality of food I find here.
Cons: I find some people in Delhi bit conservative and stereotype in terms of their thoughts. I find them more judgemental in general than people in other metro cities. I hate people being unaware and/or unconscious of spreading pollution and not helping to prevent the society from this problem.

Instructional Designer in San Francisco:
Pros: I love how fast moving San Francisco is. People you meet are go getters, and are interested in advancing. The city is also very walkable and the weather is usually really temperate.
Cons: The cost of everything! This is such an expensive city. I am lucky that I only pay $1200/month in rent, but most of my friends pay over $3,000 for a one bedroom or studio!
March 2017
It's Florida.
