June 2022
Flexible but No Accountability or Transparency.
Instructional Design Manager in Denver:
Pros: I like the nature of my work -Training, Learning Development/Experience
Cons: Senior leadership. Gaslighting. Unsupportive. Burnout culture. No accountability. Defensive Leadership. Literally everything else.
February 2015
High Stress, Lots of Responsibility, Sometimes Fun.
Instructional Design Manager:
Pros: I get to travel and see workshops that I've helped create. I get to implement my own management systems, which I enjoy.
Cons: I shoulder more responsibility than most of the higher-paid employees, as the creative contingency are undervalued in an environment where sales and marketing take precedence.
